M3GAN cast: Who stars in the thriller M3GAN?

Less than a week in 2023 and already, horror films are starting off the year’s theatrical releases. The movie M3GAN hits theaters nationwide on Jan. 6
Not only has the movie made a splash on social media prior to the film’s release with a viral video showcasing the doll’s dance moves, the film has already been given a 96% (and counting) on Rotten Tomatoes website with reviews praising the film’s story and structure. The film is directed by Gerard Johnstone from a screenplay by Akela Cooper and a story by Cooper and James Wan. It is being produced by Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster Productions alongside Divide/Conquer productions.
The movie is centered around Gemma, a roboticist at a toy company, who uses artificial intelligence (AI) to develop M3GAN (short for Model 3 Generative Android), a lifelike doll programmed to be a ‘child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally’. When her niece becomes orphaned, Gemma enlists the help of the M3GAN prototype to be her friend, this leads to M3GAN becoming self-aware and overprotective of Cady which proves to have undesirable consequences for those who try to hurt both Cady and Gemma.

- The movie stars Allison Williams (Get Out) has reentered the horror space as she takes on the lead role of Gemma in the film. Gemma is described as a roboticist and the inventor of the M3GAN robotic doll.
