The adult animated series Velma is streaming on HBO Max and we only have one word to say about it — Jinkies! And if we had to elaborate on that, we’d say it has exceeded our expectations. If you’re not watching the series, you’re missing out! Luckily, there are only two episodes available to stream at the time of this writing. Don’t want to miss any more episodes? You’ve come to the right place! Here’s when new episodes of Velma come out on HBO Max.

Ms. Velma Dinkley has been the underappreciated brains of the Mystery Inc. for far too long. It’s time to show her some love! In fact, we already want a second season. In the kid-friendly cartoons (and throughout the Scooby-Doo! universe) Velma has always been sharp, bold, and brave. But we still want to learn more about her. For example, how did she become part of the Mystery Inc.?

One important thing to note, is that this is no kid-friendly comedy like the cartoons we grew up watching. HBO Max’s Velma is for adults only. So tune in when the kids go to sleep! When, exactly, should you tune in?

When do new episodes of Velma come out on HBO Max?

Instead of HBO Max dropping all episodes at once or only releasing one each week, we are getting two episodes weekly on Thursdays at 3:01 a.m. ET. Will you be staying up late to watch the animated series or tune in later in the day (or the weekend)?
