The Way Home cast: Who’s in the Hallmark Channel series?

The Way Home, Hallmark Channel’s first authentically original series of 2023, premieres Sunday, Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. ET. The show follows three generations of women as they navigate new circumstances together after a 20 year estrangement.
Our lead, Alice Dhawan, is 15 years old and dealing with her parents’ pending divorce. When her mom, Kat, gets laid off from her job, it opens the door for the two of them to go live with Del, Kat’s mother who Alice has never met. It’s been years since Kat and Del were on good terms, but Alice wasn’t aware just how much their relationship fractured in the ’90s until she’s sent back in time by a pond on the property.
That’s right! This family drama incorporates some sci-fi fantasy in the plot. Deciding she’s going to figure out what broke between her mom and grandmother, Alice uses the pond to keep one foot in the past and the other in the present. It’s her belief that if she can find out what happened, she can help the two repair their damaged bond.
