First, the thriller M3GAN arrived to pleasantly surprise us all, and then the disturbing (but in a good way?) Infinity Pool opened in theaters. One slasher-horror we are all waiting for is Scream 6, but until that arrives, we’ve got Knock at the Cabin to look forward to!
What is the movie Knock at the Cabin about?
The psychological horror movie follows a young girl and her parents vacationing at a remote cabin. Four unexpected, and armed, visitors stop by to demand the family make an “unthinkable choice” in order to stop the upcoming apocalypse. Will they be able to decide before it’s too late? Seems exciting! And with M. Night Shyamalan as the director and one of the screenplay writers (along with Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman), you know there will be plenty of surprises, and a guaranteed twist of an ending.
Knock at the Cabin opens in theaters on Friday, Feb. 3. As for a streaming release, nothing has been announced, but with this being a Universal Pictures production, it’ll likely go to Peacock — we’ll keep you posted!
