When is Ryan Seacrest’s last episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan?

Fans of Live with Kelly and Ryan learned the bittersweet news that the actress’ co-host will be leaving soon when it was announced in February 2023. Since then, we’ve all been wondering when Ryan Seacrest’s last day on the morning talk show would be. And now, we know.

Back in February, Seacrest shared the news in an Instagram post, alluding that the reason for this decision is because it’s been hard to split his time between New York City for Live with Kelly and Ryan and LA for American Idol and his radio show KIIS-FM for the last few years. There’s also more charity work he plans to focus on.

The talented guy is certainly busy! And it’s hard to live coast to coast like that so we can’t blame him. But we’re certainly going to miss seeing him every morning. So when is that final goodbye going to happen? We’ve got the answer for you below.

When is Ryan Seacrest’s last episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan?

At the Countdown to Oscars 95 the day of the 95th Academy Awards, Ripa, Seacrest, and new co-host Mark Consuelos shared that the American Idol  MC’s last day on Live with Kelly and Ryan will be Friday, April 14, 2023. This episode is sure to get the waterworks going!

That means Consuelos will be joining his real-life wife with the rebranded Live with Kelly and Mark on Monday, April 17. The show and job isn’t new to him as he’s actually guest hosted several times! Check out the announcement below:

Seacrest has been Ripa’s “work husband” since 2017 after he took over for Michael Strahan who left in 2016 for his current gig on Good Morning America. Plus, the good news is that this isn’t a final, final goodbye. Seacrest said he’ll be more than ready and happy to return to guest host in the future!

Live with Kelly and Ryan airs weekdays on ABC. Ryan Seacrest’s last show will be Friday, April 14, 2023.
