We have made it to the weekend, everyone! Let’s rejoice and find a new movie to watch. Below, we share the best new weekend movies that are now in theaters and available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.

The month of March has seen so many films released. From Creed III to Scream 6 to Chang Can Dunk, this week provides a plethora amount of films in theaters and on streaming platforms. I can promise that this is just the start, as the calendar is packed for the next few months.

Weekend movies to watch (and stream) today

  • Shazam!: Fury of the Gods, In Theaters
  • Inside, In Theaters
  • A Snowy Day in Oakland, In Theaters
  • The Magician’s Elephant, Netflix
  • Boston Strangler, Hulu
  • Money Shot: The Pornhub Story, Netflix

As someone that is a massive fan of the original Shazam! it saddens me that the new film doesn’t look as down to earth as the original. That said, with this fun ensemble, I am hoping they can at least make the film a bunch of fun. With DC’s status up in the air over the hiring of James Gunn, this might be the last time we see this group in these superhero costumes. Also, the number of times it was pushed, I’d be lying if I wasn’t excited for it to finally come out due to seeing the trailer. trillion times.

Also in theaters is the claustrophobic thriller starring Willem Dafoe, Inside. Dafoe plays Nemo, a high-end art thief that is trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned. So he must use all his ideas and inventions to survive. As a huge fan of Dafoe, I am rather excited to check this one out.
