American Horror Story know Jessica Lange as the queen of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series. However, as much as Lange’s talent impacted the stories, the actress only appears in the first four seasons (and a cameo in a later season). Instead, Evan Peters has appeared in multiple seasons. How many AHS seasons has Evan Peters starred in? Which AHS cast member has starred in the most seasons?

Jessica Lange’s final season is AHS: Freak Show, where she portrays Elsa Mars. She does return in season 8, briefly reprising her role as Constance Langdon. The anthology series is now 11 seasons in, with season 12 in the works.

All we know about the upcoming season, is that Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts will star. I don’t know about you, but this I have to see! Though I didn’t enjoy (or finish) season 11, I’ll definitely tune in for the next one. Sadly, Evan Peters will not be returning, he also skipped season 11 and season 9.

How many American Horror Story seasons has Evan Peters starred in?

Evan Peters has starred in nine out of the (soon to be) 12 American Horror Story seasons. As we mention above, the only chapters Peters has skipped are season 9, season 11, and season 12. Fans are hopeful Peters will return at some point. The actor didn’t quit, exactly, but decided to take a break to pursue other projects.

Series favorites Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe have also starred in nine installments. Then, we have Frances Conroy, who has appeared in eight, Denis O’Hare in seven, and Emma Roberts in six seasons. Paulson will not star in season 12, but no word on Rabe as of yet.

Not much is known about the upcoming chapter, other than the casting of Roberts and Kardashian. It is expected to premiere in late 2023 — we will update you all as soon as more details surface.
