When you’re waiting for an anticipated release, weeks can feel like years. My fellow Disney+ fans can definitely attest to that.

While there are some exciting releases for April, it has felt like a slow month. Even so, there are still some fun new shows being added. I’m sure we all know what movie is coming at the end of this month. If you don’t it’s Peter Pan & Wendy, the latest adaptation of the beloved tale.

Even so, that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of other fun content to enjoy. The one thing I will say about Disney+ is that at least there’s a variety. There’s something for people who might not even love Disney as a company but love the other properties under its umbrella.

With that being said, let’s get into this week’s batch of releases and see how you can plan your weekend.

New on Disney+

If you’re looking to get caught up on some of your favorite shows or just need some background noise for the weekend, Disney+ has got you covered.

  • Big City Greens sason 3 episodes (April 19)
  • Hamster and Gretel season 1 episodes (April 19)
  • PJ Masks: Power Heroes season 1 episodes (April 19)
  • Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Chapter 24, Finale (April 19)
  • Secrets of the Elephants (April 22)

As you can see, it’s another relatively short week for Disney although that’s not to say it won’t be a good week. With all the hype around both Star Wars and Pedro Pascal, I’m sure The Mandalorian fans will be turning out in droves. For the most part, though, this past week’s releases are great if you have a little one in the house or if you have to babysit.

Regardless of which camp you’re in, I’m sure you’ll be able to find something that will keep everyone happy or at the very least, keep you cool inside for a bit.
