Good news, Yellowstone fans! Yellowstone season 5 is coming to Peacock in May 2023.

The streaming network just announced the news on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, and you don’t have too much longer to wait until the new episodes are available to stream on Peacock.

Yellowstone season 5 is headed to Peacock on May 25, 2023, just in time for a Memorial Day weekend binge-watch, according to a report from Variety. All eight episodes from Yellowstone season 5 that have aired so far will be available to stream on Peacock on May 25.

The first four seasons of Yellowstone are currently available to stream on Peacock right now. The new episodes of the series air on Paramount Network and are available to stream on Paramount+. It’s a little bit confusing, but it’s how it works.

As most Yellowstone fans know, season 5 is not complete yet. There are eight more episodes coming in Yellowstone season 5. Eventually, they will stream on Peacock, but it won’t be for quite some time.

When is Yellowstone season 5 part 2 coming out?

You’ll have a few months to catch up on Yellowstone before the rest of season 5 premieres on Paramount Network. The Yellowstone season 5 part 2 release is scheduled for November 2023, according to Variety. We still don’t know the exact release date, but it will be sometime in November. We’re anticipating the season will end sometime in late December or early January, depending on when the episode premieres.

Yellowstone season 5 is the final season

There’s been a lot of Yellowstone news lately, and unfortunately, it’s not all good news. Yellowstone season 5 is the final season of the series, according to Variety. It’s unclear why exactly the show is ending at the height of its popularity, and there’s been a ton of speculation about Kevin Costner wanting to leave the series, the budget getting too big, and just Paramount, overall. We’re not sure what to make of it all yet, but we’ll be sure to pass along more information when we find out.

This is not the end of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone Universe, though.

Yellowstone sequel series announced

In addition to the news about Yellowstone ending, we learned that many of these characters will be sticking around in a Yellowstone sequel series. Matthew McConaughey has been rumored to be in consideration for the role, but nothing has been announced yet.

Currently, there are six shows in the Yellowstone Universe in the works right now. We’ve seen three of those shows so far: Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923. Four other Yellowstone shows have been announced, and it’s possible even more are in the works under Sheridan’s overall deal with Paramount.
