How many episodes are in My Happy Marriage on Netflix?

My Happy Marriage made its debut Wednesday, July 5 on Netflix. The anime series, which is available to stream with English subtitles and in English dub, introduced subscribers to Miyo Saimori. The lead character comes from a cruel family who treats her like a servant and have done so since her mother’s death and the discovery that she does not possess the inherited psychic abilities that would make her an asset.

As such, her father, stepmother, and sister Kaya look down on her. Miyo, however, is seen as useful when it comes to marrying her off and the husband they’ve selected for her is a captain. They are uninterested in her happiness and, it is their belief, that the man they’ve chosen to marry her to is cruel as well. Every prospective bride he has had has run off.

But, with time spent with each other, Miyo comes to learn her groom is actually an incredibly kind person who prizes her joy above all else. It’s through their relationship that Miyo begins to learn her own strength and abilities.

How many episodes does My Happy Marriage have?

As Hidden Remote previously reported, My Happy Marriage is expected to have a total of 12 episodes. However, this episode count has not been confirmed by Netflix so the anime could have less or more episodes in its run than reported. We’ll update this section once more information comes in.

If the series does stick to 12 episodes, subscribers can anticipate a new release every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. PT with a finale set for Sept. 20. Typically, new releases on Netflix come out at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT, however, this anime simulcasts with the Japanese broadcast which airs at 11:30 p.m. JST, hence the atypical release time.
