We’ve got the answer for you below.
Billions season 7 dedication explained: Who is Charles Koppelman?
Charles Koppelman is the father of Billions co-creator and executive producer Brian Koppelman. So even though he didn’t directly work on the show, he was still a very important person as he had a personal connection to one of the people responsible for brining the series to life (David Levien and Andrew Ross Sorkin also co-created the television production).
Charles was part of many ventures as he was a musician, music producer, and businessman. During his career, he served as an executive at British record label EMI and fashion company Steve Madden. He was also Chairman of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
Charles died at the age of 82 on Nov. 25, 2022 following his battle with cancer. His son Brian shared an Instagram post dedicated to his father that day as well.
Billions season 7 premieres new episodes Fridays on Paramount+ and Sundays on Showtime.
