SPOILERS FOR THE BACHELORETTE 2023!

Who is The Bachelorette 2023?

Charity Lawson is the new Bachelorette for The Bachelorette 2023! That’s not exactly a spoiler. The news was announced during the After the Final Rose special for The Bachelor finale in the spring of 2023.

Charity was on Zach Shallcross’s season on The Bachelor, which was the most recent season of the series. It looked like Charity and Zach could have ended up together, but he had a stronger connection with three of the women on his season. Charity was in the Final Four of Zach’s season and made it to the Hometowns, but she was eliminated after that date. Zach gave roses to Kaity, Gabi, and Arielle, and later, he proposed to Kaity. As of June 2023, Zach and Kaity are still together.

Enough about Zach’s season! This is all about Charity and the 25 men she’ll be dating throughout season 20 of The Bachelorette.

When did The Bachelorette season 20 premiere?

The Bachelorette 2023 premieres on Monday, June 26, 2023, on ABC. Normally, the season would premiere at 8 p.m. ET, but there’s been a time change for The Bachelorette this season.

New episodes of The Bachelorette begin at 9 p.m. on ABC. Looks like we’re going to be staying up an hour later to watch The Bachelorette this season.

The Bachelorette 2023 is a shortened season

The reasons for the shorter season are unclear. We still don’t know exactly how short the season will be, but that’s what Cosmopolitan is reporting. Reality Steve broke the news that by April 8, 2023, there were only six men left on the season. Production on the season started in March, so the show goes from 25 to the final six men pretty quickly.

This isn’t necessarily abnormal. The last few seasons of The Bachelorette were shorter than The Bachelor, according to Reality Steve. Maybe Charity knows what she wants and is able to get rid of the contestants she’s not interested in earlier in the season.

Brayden Charity’s first impression rose

There are rumors that Charity gives her first impression rose to John. Charity reportedly hinted that John does something on the first night that wins her over, but again, it’s not clear if that’s actually the case.

Brayden, however, was the big winner of the first night. He got the first impression rose from Charity.

An Entertainment Tonight exclusive also revealed Brayden getting a kiss from Charity and then bragging about it A LOT during the rest of the night. It looks like he’s in the early lead to become the villain of the season. He could also be a contender for the first impression rose.

Charity’s date spoilers

We don’t know a ton about the dates Charity goes on this season, but we have heard from Reality Steve about some of the dates this season.

According to Reality Steve, Aaron B. gets the first one-on-one date of the season, followed by Brayden Bowers.

Brayden, get to the chopper. Brayden, from San Diego, gets the helicopter date this season, assuming there’s only one. Charity takes Brayden on a date to Petco Park in downtown San Diego via helicopter, according to Reality Steve.

The San Diego Padres, the Major League Baseball team from San Diego, play at Petco Park, and it looks like it’s a baseball-themed date.

Reality Steve also confirmed a Barbie group date! Will Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and/or Greta Gerwig show up to promote Barbie, coming to theaters on July 21? It’s still up in the air, but there are a few special guests who will be attending! Sean McLaughlin reportedly wins the Barbie date and gets extra time with Charity.

Around here, Warwick gets a one-on-one date, but he gets eliminated on the date, according to Reality Steve.

There are also some dates around Portland, Oregon, and Mount Hood, according to the Bachelorette scooper. Dotun and Xavier get dates during this part of the season.

It’s also been confirmed, via Reality Steve, that Dotun and Joey have one-on-one dates in New Orleans right before the Hometown dates. Conventional thinking leads us to believe those two get roses on the dates, are confirmed for the Hometowns, and are safe during the rose ceremony when Charity will choose the other two contestants for Hometowns for the Final Four.

Reality Steve mentioned that Aarob B. or Xavier also got a one-one-one date around New Orleans. There was no rose ceremony before the Final Four, so that means there was a group date with three people and two people (Tanner and Sean) were eliminated.

Who gets eliminated in The Bachelorette 2023 in order

We shared the order of The Bachelorette 2023 eliminations in order, according to Reality Steve’s new post.

  • First Rose Ceremony eliminations: Taylor, Nic, Joe, Khalid, Chris, and Peter
  • Second Rose Ceremony eliminations: Josh, Kaleb, John Henry, Caleb A., and Spencer
  • Warwick gets eliminated during a one-on-one date
  • Third Rose Ceremony eliminations: James, Aaron, and Adrian
  • Brayden gets eliminated during a group date
  • Fourth Rose Ceremony eliminations: Caleb B., John, and Michael
  • Tanner and Sean are eliminated on a group date
  • Aaron B is eliminated during hometowns
  • Xavier is eliminated during overnights

Which former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants return on Charity’s season?

If there’s one thing The Bachelor franchise loves, it’s bringing back former stars of other seasons of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise. Sometimes, former contestants wan their shot at love with the new Bachelorette or Bachelor lead, but most of the time, the former contestants return to host or judge some of the dates from the season or to provide a little moral support for the new lead.

In Charity’s season, it’s been confirmed by Reality Steve that JoJo and Jordan will return to judge the Barbie date.

Aaron B., Dotun, Joey, and Xavier are in Charity’s Final Four

Reality Steve broke the news in April that Aaron B., Dotun Obuleko, Joey Graziadei, and Xavier Bonner are Charity’s final four. All four men filmed their hometown dates with Charity in the month of April.

Originally, Reality Steve thought Tanner Courtard made it to the Hometowns and Xavier was eliminated, but there was some confusion about the filming locations because Joey and Tanner were from Pennsylvania. Instead, it looks like Tanner gets eliminated at the final six.

Who wins The Bachelorette 2023?

If you’ve been following the full season, you might not be surprised to know that Dotun is who Charity ends up with at the end of the season. That’s right, Charity ends the season with Dotun. Not only do the pair end up together but they are rumored to get engaged in the season finale and are said to still be together after filming wrapped.

Heading into finale night, Dotun and Joey were the last men standing and Charity told both men she loved them which left fans wondering who she might choose. While we’re sure Charity struggled with the choice, it seems it was Dotun who she felt she had a stronger connection with.
