The time of year when significant others get ignored three days a week is upon us. Yes, if you guessed that the National Football League is here, you guessed right. After spending all day watching NFL Red Zone, we take a small break before we dive into the world of Sunday Night Football that airs on NBC. We share what time it comes on and the release schedule.

The year was 2006 when NBC took the Sunday primetime games away from ESPN. Since then, we’ve seen some of the biggest names in the history of the NFL go head-to-head on one of the biggest stages. This season sees Chris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico hit the booth for a second consecutive year calling the big games.

What time is Sunday Night Football on NBC?

The pregame show Football Night in America kicks off the festivities at 7 p.m. ET each week as a lead-up to the big game that kicks off at 8:20 p.m. The game airs on NBC while simultaneously streaming on Peacock.

Week 3 – Sept. 24: Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders
Week 4 – Oct. 1: Kansas City Chiefs at New York Jets
