Nathan Fielder and Emma Stone star in The Curse, a “genre-bending” comedy that has our full attention after the release of the unsettling teaser. Not too much is known about the upcoming series, but here’s what we do know (and why we’re so excited to watch).

Leave it to Nathan Fielder to keep fans on their toes when it comes to what he’s working on next. The comedian and actor last starred as himself in the docu-comedy The Rehearsal on HBO, which was promptly renewed for a second season. That said, we weren’t expecting a whole new series from Fielder. But that’s not the only reason we’re looking forward to it.

Fielder has proven he is a cringe-comedy king time and time again. He could be the only person starring in the series and we would happily watch, but to see Academy Award-winning actress Emma Stone? Yes, please! Additionally, Fielder teamed up with Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems) to create The Curse, produced by A24.

Are you sold? We thought so! Now let’s share all the details we know about The Curse so you don’t miss out.
