The competition is heating up on The Voice season 24! We’ve reached the point in the competition series where the Battle Rounds are in full force. When the contestants first come on to audition for the show, they are up against many others and have to at least get one coach to turn their chair. In the Battles though, it’s much more personal. Now, they’ve worked with their coach and are going against someone directly on their team. Talk about no pressure, right!?

These aspiring singers are really inspirational and I love to see their talent showcased each week. Tonight there’s the MLB World Series Game 3 between the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks. Sometimes sports events can disrupt our normal programming to be broadcast. So is there a new episode of The Voice this evening?

Yes, there is a new episode of The Voice tonight, Oct. 30, 2023. Phew! No offense to sports fans, but I am not one of them. So it can be kind of annoying when a favorite show of ours is bumped for a game. Anyways… The Voice airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The two-hour episode will also be available to stream on Peacock the next day.

So what’s in store this evening? Who are the contestants still around, and who might be going home tonight? Read on below for the details!

Tonight’s Battle round on The Voice

We’ve got another round of The Battles tonight, and we’re going to see another batch of competitors moving on to the Knockouts. And that’s a whole other nerve-wrecking part of the series! But one thing at a time. Coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani pit two of their artists against each other to sing the same song. Ahead of the performance, they give them advice and help them prepare.

But unfortunately even though there’s so much talent, only one person can move forward. That is unless another coach “Steals” the contestant who’s supposed to head home. Each coach gets two steals in this round. That means the “losing” competitor on one team can be “stolen” by another coach and advance to the Knockouts.

There’s still quite a few talented singers to hear from who don’t know their fate just yet. For a comprehensive guide of all the contestants, check that out here.
