Why is Fear the Walking Dead no longer streaming on Max?
By Sandy C.
If you were working your way through Fear the Walking Dead episodes on Max, you may be confused when you checked in to no longer find the series on the streaming platform. Where did it go? Will it be coming back?
Many fans may not have known that Fear TWD and other AMC network favorites were streaming on Max. I’m telling you, the world of streaming is not an easy one to keep up with. If you missed AMC shows on Max, we don’t blame you! As Undead Walking shares, this was only a temporary deal.
On Sept. 1, AMC Networks partnered with Max to offer the following seven AMC titles: Fear TWD, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Dark Winds, Gangs of London, Ride with Norman Reedus, A Discovery of Witches, and Killing Eve. Cross-promotions like this one are great for both sides. It’s a way to get more eyes on the shows being promoted, and it can also bring more subscribers and fans to, in this case, AMC. But you had to be fast, because the deal ended on Halloween night.
Fear the Walking Dead and other AMC titles are no longer streaming on Max
Fear the Walking Dead, along with the titles listed above, were removed from Max on Oct. 31 right at midnight. So, if you were not done binge-watching the series, where can you stream Fear TWD?
Currently, the TWD spin-off is airing its final season, which you can watch on AMC and AMC+. Need to catch up? Stream previous episodes on the AMC+ streaming platform. The series finale is set to air on Sunday, Nov. 19. Ride with Norman Reedus is also streaming on the platform, as well as the other titles.
Did you watch the show on Max and will now be going to AMC+ now, or were you already a big fan? If you missed this promo and another cross-promotion happens, we’ll be sure to let you know!
