The Sex Lives of College Girls season 3 has an exciting release window!
By Sabrina Reed
Finally, there’s news about The Sex Lives of College Girls season 3 that we can celebrate. News is dropping like hot cakes about HBO and Max’s returning series. Unfortunately, for some shows it’ll be 2025 by the time we see them again, but that’s not the case for this college drama. It’s coming back in Spring 2024. The announcement came straight from HBO CEO and Chairman Casey Bloys as he laid out the entertainment giant’s roster for 2024-2025 on Thursday, Nov. 2.
We’ve been dying to know when the trials and tribulations of the students at Essex College would make their way back to our screens. We’ve missed the drama, thankfully it won’t be too long before we get to revel in it again. A spring release window means season 3 will make its debut sometime between March and May 2024. Fingers crossed, it’s March. That way we only have to wait five more months. Of course, this all depends on when the actors strike comes to a close. But at least the writers room is open.
The Sex Lives of College Girls season 3 is in production
Deadline reports that writers for The Sex Lives of College Girls were expected to begin working on the third season of the Max original the week of Oct. 2. There hasn’t been confirmation that they have but, judging by the season’s release window, it’s a safe bet they have. An official episode count hasn’t been announced for season 3, but we expect it’ll be ten episodes like with the previous two seasons.
With the actors strike still ongoing, it’ll be awhile before we get word on any cast additions for season 3 but, if you haven’t heard the word about Reneé Rapp, she won’t be returning as a series regular. While we will get to see Leighton Murray, it’ll only be so her arc can be tied up and she can have a suitable exit.
