The bright lights and bouncy dancefloor from Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom feel like a distant memory now for the remaining couples on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing 2023. Last week’s special was of course the moment they had all been waiting for, as it meant a chance to dance on the most famous dancefloor in the world – and it truly was an incredible night of dancing that saw the contestants produce some awesome routines.

But now, with that special in the rear-view mirror, all sights were set on the glitterball trophy in the approaching Strictly Final. With that, the show returned to Elstree as the six remaining couples brought out the glitz and glam for the final normal week of the show ahead of next week’s Quarter Finals (which also happens to be Musicals Week). And there were certainly some surprises along the way, as we saw some party Latin, a boisterous ballroom routine, and an exquisite Argentine Tango.

When all was said and done, it was Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola who ended up atop the Leaderboard (albeit after some divisive comments from the judges), but did the judges get it right? Let’s find out, as we rank the six routines of the night from worst to best.
