911 and 911: Nashville fans will have to wait just a little longer for season 10 and season 2, respectively. It has been a long summer hiatus so far, and we do miss the characters we’ve grown to love so much. However, we do have a premiere date! Just like last year in 2025, the show won’t be back until October, but we’re looking forward to being able to circle the date on our calendars!
ABC announced their premiere dates for their 2026-2027 television programming and the 911 shows were included in the lineup. However, the dates are a bit later than expected. 911 will premiere first on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c, with Nashville following at 9/8c. This was later than expected, but at least we can prepared for when we can watch the new episodes.
However, given they are likely going to air 18 episodes once more like previous seasons, the schedule will help the shows finish airing new episodes in May.
When 911 finished Season 9 back in May 2026, the team had gone through plenty of changes. For starters, Sergeant Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) took a long-awaited promotion to detective while Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark) took in the boy he had helped conceive for his friends before their untimely deaths years later.
We still do not know what the opening disaster will be. But anything could happen, especially with the kinds of emergencies we have already seen over nearly the past decade the show has aired. After season 9 seemed to leave fans with a lot of questions and feelings about what was happening, we’re hoping season 10 gives the characters room to grow.
911: Nashville has brought plenty of soapy drama for fans, especially with the end of season 1 leading to an all-out brawl between Jessica Capshaw’s Blythe Hart and LeAnn Rimes’ Dixie Bennings. Fans have also been enjoying the romance between Hunter McVey’s Blue Bennings and Hailey Kilgore’s Taylor Thompson, and season 2 is sure to continue deepening these ties all while everyone battles flames and personal drama.
