In the Thursday, Feb. 6 all-new Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage, "A Tire Convention and the Moral High Ground," the couple take their first weekend apart as Georgie heads down to his first-ever tire convention with his father-in-law, Jim. But will the time split between them strengthen or weaken their vows?
Let's be honest, but since day one of their wedding, the vibes between Georgie and Mandy aren't the perfect match, but they try their hardest to make it work for CeeCee's sake. Having had a strong figure in George Sr., Georgie want to emulate that into his parenting methods. This includes providing a substantial income and bonding with his daughter, which, must be praised, because despite his age, Georgie is a great dad to CeeCee.
As for Mandy, she wants to expand her horizons, as she noted in the last episode, "Diet Crap." While the outlook is perfectly natural, it does cause some issues, such as separating herself from her child and not being emotionally connected with Georgie. However, he has been nothing but supportive through each of her endeavors.
"A Tire Convention and the Moral High Ground" might impose new problems for the pair, especially on the jealousy side of things. Yet, perhaps, as they have previously, Georgie and Mandy will sort it out and go from there.

Okay, so Georgie and Mandy might have a few marital problems this week, but on the bright side, we get more Connor McCallister. He is quickly becoming my favorite character, as he brings such a smooth warmth in the family. It's a contrast to Jim's sardonicism and Audrey's criticism, but much needed one because Connor's chill attitude balances them out. His parents might think their son is a bit askew, but he's not pretending to be someone he's not and that arc is working well for him.
Now, here's the moment that I've been secretly hoping for this season. Connor is babysitting CeeCee, as her parents aren't home, so he volunteers to watch over her despite doubt from the family's doubts. The uncle and his niece bond over music, one of the best techniques for forming a relationship with a young child.
With this latest storyline, it's with hope that there will be more situations with it, because not only does it work for Connor's benefit, but CeeCee's too, as she's one Cooper that well deserves the spotlight.
