We are more than ready for a new episode of Watson. There is some bad news about tonight, Sunday, Feb. 9.
There isn’t going to be a new episode of the new series just yet. The Watson premiere took advantage of the timeslot after the AFC Championship. It was a good move by CBS, but it did mean we knew we were in for a wait for the second episode.
CBS has Tracker reruns all night tonight
In some bad news, not only is there not a new episode, but there also isn’t a rerun of Watson tonight. The lack of new episode is simple. It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and FOX is airing the game. No network in its right mind would go up against the Super Bowl. It’s suicide for all shows.
However, CBS is opting for a night of reruns. We’re getting a night of Tracker reruns, and this does make sense. It remains one of the strongest shows on the network in terms of new episodes and reruns. If CBS was going to get any viewers, it would be via this series.
When will Watson return with new episodes?
There is some excellent news, though. The wait for Watson episode 2 is almost over. Sundays will return to normal on Feb. 16. That’s next week!
We’ll get the second episode of the Morris Chestnut series sandwiched between Tracker and The Equalizer. All Sunday dramas are back, and we’re ready for them!
What to expect in Watson season 1, episode 2
The new episode will see Watson and his team deal with an unusual case of a man with a bullet lodged in his brain. The man insists he is a Scottish soldier, which would suggest that the bullet is catching on a part of the brain that affects memory, creativity, or something else like that. Can it be removed without causing permanent damage?
Meanwhile, Watson is on a mission to find out more about the woman his ex-wife is dating. This is probably why Mary didn’t tell him about the new woman in her life. She knows that Watson will do some digging, especially since he’s clearly not over their marriage.
Watson will return on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 9/8c on CBS.
