A mystery woman spies on Ridge and Brooke in Monte Carlo (Who could be joining Bold and the Beautiful?)

The Bold and the Beautiful is off to a location shoot for the week of July 29, though we're going to have to wait until Friday, Aug. 2 for a look at the gorgeous Monte Carlo. The storyline surrounding the trip has been teased for awhile, with the beginning of the plot being a comedic turn for Jacqueline McInnes Wood as her character Steffy has a humorous moment at the airport.

It's unclear whether Hope will have a hand in Steffy's unfortunate misplacement of her passport or if fate has simply tipped in the Logan's favor. Though Brooke was a last minute addition to the Monte Carlo trip that was scheduled for the Co-CEOs, Hope was of the mind that Steffy should bow out so Bridge could mix a little pleasure and romance with the business they're supposed to be conducting in the city.

With Steffy firmly grounded and stuck stateside, it looks like Hope is going to get exactly what she wanted. But, based on the promo CBS released, Bridge's happy time in Monte Carlo may get interrupted. The teaser touts that there's going to be "a stunning twist." Check it out below!

What you can't see in this version of the promo is that there's a mysterious woman in a scarf watching as Bridge have a romantic moment. She appears a little after Ridge tells Brooke, "You are the love of my life, don't ever doubt that." The promo ends with a woman asking, "Why is this happening?"

To be clear, we don't know who this woman might be but there's been plenty of speculation going around that she might be "Sabrina." Back in June, Soap Hub reported that The Bold and the Beautiful was looking to cast a new leading lady between the ages of 45-50 years old. She was described as strong and sophisticated.

Of course, this led to suspicion that the soap may be trying to bring Taylor back to the show. Krista Allen garnered quite the fanbase when she stepped into the role and many fans, myself included, were sad to see her depart the series. Admittedly, it's been strange seeing all the life events Steffy and Thomas have gone through without Taylor being around or at least some word of her having knowledge of the difficulties they've faced.

"Sabrina" could rectify that by introducing us to yet another iteration of Taylor which would call Ridge's claim into question. Not because it's untrue but because Brooke never truly feels settled in their love whenever Taylor is around because of Ridge and hers shared history and the fact that she does have a part of his heart even if she's not the one he routinely chooses.

But while a new Taylor would be a twist, it wouldn't exactly be a stunning one, unless that's a reference to her beauty. It's also possible "Sabrina" is a long lost love of Ridge's that we've never heard of that could throw a wrench into Bridge's romantic getaway. Either way, I can't wait until the mystery woman is revealed.
