The Bold and the Beautiful is doing a lot to keep us entertained this summer and, I have to say, I'm loving it! Between Thomas and Paris' shocking engagement to the murder mystery that started at Il Giardino, it's been nice to have a few different storylines to sink our teeth into (with more on the way!). Come the end of July, we're going to get a plot meant to tickle our funny bones and it's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood who's going to be doing the comedic heavy lifting.

The actress' character, Steffy Forrester, has been dealing with one five alarm fire after another. It wasn't that long ago that she thought she killed her husband's birth mother only for that to turn out to be a botched revenge plot concocted by Sheila's nemesis, Sugar. Then, she was reeling from Finn's newfound friendship with her former rival, Hope, since their parents have gotten married. Though, unbeknownst to her, the Logan was having very inappropriate fantasies about the good doctor. And that's just Steffy's personal life!

At Forrester Creations, thanks to Ridge's out of nowhere plan to bring his lady love Brooke onto the fashion firm's executive board, Steffy has had to contend with working much closer to a woman she barely can stand on a good day. She's fallen in line because the decision because it was out of her hands but she hasn't been thrilled about it or the planned relaunch of Brooke's Bedroom .

Well, now Steffy is set to have a no good, very bad day at the airport. She, her father, and Brooke are headed to Monte Carlo to kick off the line's come back. But, for Steffy, that's going to be a little difficult because it seems she's forgotten an important item...her passport.

It's rare to see the Co-CEO so frazzled but that's what's going to happen on Tuesday, July 30 when Tom Arnold guest stars for a two episode arc. The actor is playing Captain Deuce Stevens, the pilot who will be taking the Forrester execs to the beautiful locale. In an interview with US Weekly, he teased his and Wood's scene together.

"One thing that is true is you have a window to land at the airport. And if you mess around and you’re late, you will miss that [window]. I like when there’s some reality to this stuff. It heightened the scene because Steffy forgot her passport. You expect [the drama] for a character, but it opens the doors for some hilarious stuff. It’s very funny because things are so dramatic that it lends itself to comedy."

Arnold also spoke to the bit of improvising we'll likely see in these moments as Wood does "some Lucy stuff with the comedy, ripping stuff out of her bag." He noted that's not easy to do since you have to keep up with the props but he felt that it worked in the scene. I'm sure we're going to have a ball watching everything unfold.

The last time we saw Steffy this flustered she was going on to Liam about how she messed up the snacks for Kelly's sports team and the other parents had been mad at her. She'd been flitting to and fro in her house as she spoke. Knowing her all over the place behavior was due to something stressing her out, Liam asked what was going on and she opened up to him about her concern that Hope could influence Finn into giving Sheila another chance at being in his life.

I do wonder what's going to have the well organized boss off her game this time and can't wait to find out. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more news and coverage!
