A new NCIS photo may have given away whether Katrina Law is leaving the show!

The wait to know what's going to happen in NCIS season 22 has everyone in the fandom itching for even just a crumb of information. So far, what's officially been shared has had to do with Agent Parker's story and the mystery around Lily, the little girl he saw in his memories. But what really has fans on tenterhooks is whether Katrina Law is exiting the show as Special Agent Jessica Knight.

The season 21 finale saw Knight being offered a job opportunity that would be hard to pass up: the chief training officer for the REACT team. She didn't have long to weigh her options as Director Vance only gave her the day to give him an answer. Knight, and her father Feng Zhao known as the "Gibbs of the Far East," have a plan for her life. She is supposed to fleet up the ranks until she lands the dream job--Director of NCIS.

The job offer gave her the chance to get back on track with the plan and, by the end of a harrowing episode that saw her and Parker trapped in a ship, she chose to accept the position. Knight's decision left Law's status on the show hanging in the air and the actress wouldn't answer if she was exiting the series. She simply said, "[B]etter tune in for that season opener."

Well, with NCIS season 22 set to premiere on Monday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, the network is gearing up for quite the Fall TV rollout. For this long-running show that includes new photos for its talented actors. Lo and behold, guess who had her photo in the group!

While the shot doesn't guarantee that Law won't be leaving NCIS in season 22, it does seem to confirm that we can expect to continue to see her as a series regular for now. What's most intriguing is whether she changes her mind on being the REACT team training officer or if circumstances change the situation.

Not to mention, shippers are desperately waiting to see what comes of Knight and Jimmy. Their relationship was tested by Feng's belief that Knight would eventually choose her career over romance. When Jimmy learned of the job offer, he reacted so negatively that it looked like their relationship was at its end.
