Accused season 2 cast list: Here's the full cast for the second season of the FOX crime drama

We finally have a complete cast list for Accused season 2, so here’s a look at who’s starring in the second season of the FOX hit!

Based on a British show, Accused premiered in 2023 on FOX and quickly became a success. The anthology series opens with a person on trial and flashbacks showing how they got to this point. The storylines are unique, with the crime often not what viewers expected and not always having a happy ending. 

The show did well in the ratings and is set for a second season. It was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, with FOX deciding to hold it off until this fall. As with season 1, each episode features a brand new guest cast with a new storyline. 

It is confirmed that Emmy winner Michael Chiklis, who starred in the pilot episode, will return for season 2 but in a different part. He’ll also direct episode 7, with some high-powered talent, including real-life husband and wife William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, Oscar winner Mercedes Ruehl, Cobie Smulders, Ken Jeong and, per Deadline, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Mike Colter will star in the season finale.

Who stars in Accused season 2?

Season 2 is set to have eight episodes which is two less than Season 1. That’s likely due to budget and the show is expected to only have a short season to fit the anthology. Per Deadline, here’s who stars in which episodes and the synopsis we know of so far:

• Episode 2: “April’s Story”: “A nurse makes a decision that takes her life in a new turn.” - Guest stars: Taylor Schilling, Justin Chambers, Danny Pino
• Episode 3: “Marcus’ Story”: “A tech creates software that takes a dark turn.” - Guest stars: Nick Cannon, Patrick J. Adams, Jerrika Hinton
• Episode 4: “Margot’s Story”: “A widow is on trial after a relationship with a dance instructor goes too far.” - Guest Stars: Debra Winger, Christine Ebersole, Mercedes Ruehl
• Episode 5: “Justin’s Story”: “A wrestling coach is accused of inappropriate actions.” - Guest stars: Michael Chiklis, Sherri Saum
• Episode 6: “Val’s Story”: Guest Stars: Cobie Smulders, Vella Lovell, Dina Shihabi

We’ll be learning more about the other episodes as the premieres draw closer, yet it shows again how Accused season 2 is going to be even more star-packed than the first season for a terrific anthology drama!
