Season 2 of Fox's Accused has added a couple of big names from Suits and Grey's Anatomy!

The program was a good success for the network when it debuted in 2023. Based on a British show, this anthology series opens with a person on trial for some sort of crime. As the episode goes on, flashbacks depict what the crime was and various twists and turns that put new perspective on the story. The final verdict is followed by a flashback showing the truth and if justice was done.

Season 1 had a great guest star cast that included Michael Chiklis, Rachel Bilson, Malcolm Jamal-Warner, Whitney Cummings, Margo Martindale, Abigail Breslin, Keith Carradine and more. The show earned a second season although FOX decided to delay its return after the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Season 2 is set to premiere in October.

The second season looks to keep up the anthology style of each episode featuring a brand new cast and storyline. Previously announced cast members include Justin Chambers, Danny Pino, Taylor Schilling, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman and season 1 returnee Michael Chiklis.

Now, the show has announced details for two huge guest stars and look to be a huge addition!

Who's joining Accused season 2?

Per TVLine, Patrick J. Adams and Jerrika Hinton will be appearing in Season 2. According to the outlet, the pair co-star in the episode "Marcus' Story," in which a tech entrepreneur (Nick Cannon) creates software that when used takes a dark turn. Hinton will play Lycia and Adams will play Pete.

Adams is best known for his role as Mike Ross on the USA Network hit Suits, which is enjoying an audience renaissance after its success on Netflix. He followed it up with roles in The Right Stuff, A League of Their Own, and the Canadian time-travel comedy Plan B.

Hinton is known to Grey's Anatomy fans for her turn as Stephanie Edwards. The character was well liked by fans for her drive despite health issues before departing the hospital after barely surviving a fire. Hinton has added credits in Servant, Hunters and A Man In Full.

The pair should bring some good star power to the show, which always excels giving its guest actors some meaty material. It also adds to the appeal of viewers to see Adams and Hinton in new roles and make season 2 of Accused even better.

Accused season 2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 8/7c on Fox.
