Brooke is worried Hope is going to make a major mistake on Bold and the Beautiful

Monday, June 10's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful revealed Hope was fantasizing about Finn, as we all suspected. But she's not going to be sitting on that secret for long. According to the spoilers, which have since been revised to not be so revealing, Hope is set to tell her mother, Brooke, a "bombshell confession."

Obviously, the only world shaking piece of information that the brand ambassador is sitting on is the fact that she's begun to desire her formal rival's husband. There's no doubt Brooke is going to keep this secret for her, it didn't need to be written into the spoilers for us to know that but the unrevised tidbits go further. Brooke's going to be worried that Hope is going after Finn!

Brooke has been unsettled by her daughter's behavior ever since she found out she cheated on Liam with Thomas. It took her months to even be willing to entertain the thought that Hope and Thomas could have a future together, then the rug got pulled out from the both of them and Thomas left for Paris.

Besides being shocked, and likely appalled, it'll be interesting to see how Brooke reacts to Hope's revelation. She, of course, will push for Hope to get it together but I wonder if we'll get another impassioned speech about how she doesn't want her daughter to make the same mistakes she did. Particularly as Hope had declared war against Steffy recently.

Steffy's of the mind that Hope intends on interfering with her marriage by pushing Finn to pursue a relationship with his birth mother, Sheila. She has no idea that Hope wants to do more than just talk to Finn about his family situation. By the time Steffy raises her concerns to Brooke, the Logan will have been let in on Hope's little secret which is certain to make working with the Co-CEO difficult.

This whole scenario, however, does put all three women in an interesting place. With Steffy and Brooke working more closely together, we could find the two become more friendly. And, in a rare showing, see the pair on the same page about Hope and Finn spending time together, and both at odds with Hope even if Steffy isn't aware of what's going on between the mother-daughter duo.

With Brooke being brought into the loop, it doesn't feel as if this storyline is going to coast which is a good thing. Better to have this be a June plot than let it languish through the summer. Perhaps, it might just be the story that triggers a return for Thomas. We're all starting to miss Matthew Atkinson on our screens. Hopefully, he returns soon.
