Do you hear that? It's the summer sizzle headed our way! Compared to ABC and NBC's schedule for the hottest time of the year, CBS' slate isn't as heated, but there's still plenty for viewers to enjoy. June is going to be full of specials. There's the Daytime Emmys and the Tony Awards to look forward to and if you're looking to have a laugh with your dad, or a father figure, Greatest @Home Videos has a Father's Day Edition that leave you in stitches.

For fans of the CSI franchise, as promised, the network is extending its reach in this universe. However, it won't be with a new scripted series in the wake of CSI: Vegas' cancellation. Instead, we can anticipate the release of The Real CSI: Miami. The unscripted program, according to CBS, will feature "gripping real-life crime cases and the cutting-edge forensic science used to solve them." Additionally, the series will focus on the victims of the crimes committed and the families looking for justice for their loved one.

The unscripted series is one in a run that have been greenlit lately as companions to long standing franchises. Last summer, NBC had LA Fire and Rescue which was right at home on the network that boasts Chicago Fire. Netflix has Homicide, a docuseries from Dick Wolf that has a crossover fanbase with his hit Law & Order franchise. Now it's CBS' turn to debut a new show of this nature after the successful run of FBI: True's fourth season 4 on their strike affected slate last fall.

By July, CBS will be settling into a familiar schedule, with exception to the inclusion of Tulsa King, the Sylvester Stallone-led crime drama which debuted on Paramount+ and has a second season in the works. If you're unfamiliar, the series follows Dwight "The General" Manfredi who's recently been released from prison after a 25 year bid. The Mafia capo is directed by his boss to establish operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma of all places. He goes but building an empire requires putting together a new crew.

If Big Brother is more your speed, you can count on the typical three night airing for the reality competition series which is entering season 26. Julie Chen Moonves returns to host. Paramount+ subscribers and Pluto TV users can expect to catch the Live feeds on the streaming platforms just like last season.

Finally, Let's Make a Deal Primetime will return with new episodes in August. Among the line-up is "Ultimate Zonk Redemption" which sees past "zonked" contestants return for a second chance at winning. As well as "Otter Chaos," where the "Big Deal" will include every car featured in the episode which is a first for the show.
