CBS TV schedule (Week of March 25): New episodes and two preempted line-ups

We're in for another week of schedule disruptions, y'all! But, hey, at least the majority of the schedule is packed will brand new episodes. It's the Thursday and Friday line-up that's still dealing with being preempted in favor of March Madness coverage on CBS.

We're going to be without those blocks until April 4 and 5. So to my fellow Fire Country fans, we just have to hold tight for a little bit longer. Let me drop the schedule here for you before I get into what you can expect to see the week of March 25 on CBS!

What's new on CBS this week?

The Neighborhood season 6 episode 5

CBS' week kicks off, as usual, with an episode of The Neighborhood in the Monday 8 p.m. ET slot. "Welcome to the Front Window" is all about what can happen when you have too much time on your hands. For Calvin, as he's at home recuperating, he begins sticking his nose into his neighbors' business. He's got a whole set-up for himself, a window to look out of, a set of binoculars, it's a professional snooping operation as he tries to figure out what sketchy thing they're doing. He's so convinced that something wrong is afoot that he ropes his family and friends into his antics as he plays detective from the safety of his home.

Bob Hearts Abishola season 5 episode 8

It's an aptly titled episode for Bob Hearts Abishola this week as "My Michelle Obama" focuses on a clash between Abishola's aunt Olu and her mother Ebun. The latter is attempting to take over the role of matriarch which Olu won't stand for. It feels like she's being displaced in her own family and that just won't do. As for Tunde, he's been appointed the interim deacon at their church, so he's got new responsibilities that he'll be growing into that Olu will likely be a part of, too.

NCIS season 21 episode 5

Russell Wong guest stars in "The Plan" as Special Agent in Charge Feng Zhao, also known as Knight's father. He'll be along for the ride for the episode's case as the team looks to unravel a mystery. It involves a missing agent and a recently discharged service weapon. You see the conundrum? Also, Knight's not the only one dealing with family issues. When McGee's DNA results come in, he finds out that he has a close relative that he's never known. Cue the emotional spiral! Learn more about the episode, here.

NCIS: Hawai'i season 3 episode 5

It's a tense one for NCIS: Hawai'i with "Serve and Protect" as the team will be keeping the daughter of a Russian oligarch safe. She, however, is carrying a secret that could get someone killed. As you can see from the promo, Lucy and the rest of the gang are going to be put in the middle of some nonsense which includes trekking through the woods with someone coming after them. The episode will also include a moment between Sam and Tennant where he asks her for a favor.

FBI season 6 episode 6

Who's ready to be on edge? "Unforeseen" promises to be a race against time as the team works quickly to track down a killer who is targeting people and using poisonous gas to kill them in broad daylight. The investigation leads the team to believe that there is an eco-terrorist in the city looking to make a point with each person that's murdered. The episode will also continue Maggie's personal storyline as she considers becoming a mother.

FBI: International season 3 episode 6

Brace for a harrowing case with "Fire Starter" as the Fly Team investigate what happened to an American college student while in Prague. She'd been arrested for being aggressive with police, but she'd done so because her claim that she was sexually abused was dismissed by the authorities. Taking up her case, the team look to get her justice. Their task puts Vo in the driver's seat as she uses her experience as an advocate for sexual assault survivors to help the young woman.

FBI: Most Wanted season 5 episode 6

There's an active shooter situation that the Fugitive Task Force must handle in "Fouled Out." The incident takes place on a Queens college campus and leads to a manhunt for a student on the run who has a vendetta against a man he claims ruined his life. The case revolves around the world of college basketball players and will introduce the team to their "glitzy world" and likely what also happens when all of that goes away. The episode is set to feature Barnes and Charlotte making an attempt to work on their relationship as well.

Survivor 46 episode 5

In "Tiki Man," there looks to be a catapult challenge involving launching bags at what's likely some kind of target. The emotional crux of the episode focus on the wild goose chase that one tribe ends up going on as they search for an immunity idol. It makes tensions run high. Elsewhere, one castaway has to rely on their memory in order to track down something that could put them at an advantage.

The Amazing Race 36 episode 3

The title for this episode, "It's Not Over Til Phil Sings," seems to imply one of the teams this episode is going to get tripped up long enough to put their place in the competition in jeopardy. The locale for episode 3 is Colombia as the teams climb to the top of El Peñon de Guatapé using the stairs in order to find the clue they need to start the third leg of the race.

The Equalizer season 4 episode 5

"The Whistleblower" is all about Mel's brother Matthew. The two have reunited, but he needs McCall's help. Matthew wants to bring to light the unethical practices that his former unit deals in. As she's handling this case, things on McCall's home front aren't looking so good as Aunt Vi and Trish are at odds. It begins to fracture their relationship because Vi is doing her best to protect McCall's true identity in spite of what holding onto this secret is doing to Trish.

Tracker episode 7

This week's case is in the Windy City as "Chicago" follows Colter, Bobby, and Reenie looking for an MMA fighter who has disappeared. They're balancing tracking her down, which puts them on a steadily ticking clock, while working to solve what's going on with her family's visas.
