The Bold and the Beautiful characters, like those of us in the audience, are still reeling from Sheila's death this week on the soap. It's opened the door for a plot that'll see people taking sides as the families on the daytime drama wrestle with whether Steffy's actions were justified. Here's what's set to happen!

  • Monday, March 4: Deacon lodges accusations against Steffy. Finn tells Steffy he needs time.
  • Tuesday, March 5: Deacon falls apart when he sees Sheila's body. Li and Finn don't see eye to eye on Sheila in the aftermath of her death. Steffy confesses to Liam that she fears her marriage won't survive what she did.
  • Wednesday, March 6: Liam is clear with Finn, if he won't step up for Steffy than he will. Hope consoles her father as he grieves.
  • Thursday, March 7: Finn and Steffy see each other for the first time since the night Sheila died.
  • Friday, March 8: Poppy and Zende interfere when Luna decides to tell RJ the truth. Finn is haunted by the memory of his birth mom.

As you'll note in the spoilers, the week of March 4 is going to be devoted to everyone processing Sheila's death. Her demise has had a grave impact on Sinn's marriage and it doesn't look like it's going to improve which is to be expected. Regardless of how it happened, it doesn't change the fact that Finn's wife killed his biological mother in their home.

Last week, the Forresters wanted Finn to be unmoved by the event and instead be there for Steffy. It was a tall order, one that didn't take into account how Finn would be feeling. It's good that he'll be taking his time to sort through his complex emotions, but it does look like only Deacon and Hope will be able to meet him on how hard this is going to be because it looks like not even his adoptive mother Li is going to be sympathetic.

Finn should take all the time he needs but during that time Liam may find a path forward for his pursuit of Steffy. It makes sense that she's going to confide in him; the two are best friends. However, Liam has been upfront about wanting another chance with his ex-wife. The talk he's set to have with Finn will likely anger the good doctor, but it's going to be a real one. If he can't support her because of all that happened, then he should know there is another man waiting in the wings.

By the end of the week, Finn is going to be haunted by Sheila's memory. Presumably this means flashbacks, but I'm kind of hoping for Kimberlin Brown to pop up as a ghostly figure for the soap of it all. We haven't had a plot like that in forever, and it would be fun.

This doesn't really seem like a great time to circle back to the "mints" storyline but nonetheless we'll be dealing with yet another conversation about why Luna can't tell RJ that she slept with his cousin Zende after accidentally taking more than one of her mom's laced mints. I'll be glad when we're past this story or at least get to the part where someone finds Luna's earring that Zende stashed in a box in the guest house. Until then it's going to feel like we're treading water.
