Jenn's choice to send [spoiler] home shocked the Men Tell All audience on The Bachelorette
By Sabrina Reed
We didn't have to wait too long into the Men Tell All episode of The Bachelorette season 21 to find out who Jenn sent home. After Monday's episode, it really did seem like the writing was on the wall for one suitor though apparently this was news to the studio audience. They were shocked when footage of the rose ceremony aired and Jonathan was revealed as the suitor who didn't receive one of the life changing blooms.
Jenn had mentioned that though they have a good time together, there was an emotional wall between them that she couldn't seem to get past. They'd both admitted that they were falling for each other but they couldn't quite get to a love declaration. With Devin having told Jenn that he loves her (she returned his 'I love you' this episode!), and Jenn telling Marcus that she loves him, it became apparent that she and Jonathan weren't there yet emotionally.
A proposal is looming so it makes sense that Jenn went with the two men she feels the strongest about but Jonathan shared that he's kicking himself. He finally got where he needed to, realizing that he did want to be with her, no reservations but it was too late.
The studio audience were emotional right along with him as he was clearly heartbroken. They cried, too, as Jonathan processed his emotions and dealt with the loss of a future with Jenn.
With the reveal out of the way, he joined the rest of the suitors that had been sent home for a Men Tell All episode that delved into the drama that ran through season 21. We also got to hear from Jonathan about what it's been like since he left the show. He admitted that it's been hard. Having watched back how the journey went, he did see how love was involved in Jenn's relationships with Marcus and Devin, and their bond just hadn't made it to that point so he understood her decision.
But if you're wondering if this is the last we'll see of Jonathan since he wasn't chosen as the next Bachelor, don't be. Palmer had a very special invitation that he extended to Jonathan!
Jonathan will be in the next season of Bachelor in Paradise!
We're a year away from the premiere of the next season of Bachelor in Paradise but we know at least one cast member who will be on the show. For the first time, a member of Bachelor Nation has been formally asked to join the season. The audience at the Men Tell All were excited because Jonathan did accept so we will see him go on another love journey this time on the beach with a host of former contestants looking for romance.
Bachelor in Paradise returns in summer 2025. Stay tune to Hidden Remote for more news!
