We're inching closer and closer to the premiere of Young Sheldon season 7, coming our way Thursday, Feb. 15 on CBS. That also means the end is near, as it's the final season. The Cooper family's story might not be coming to a complete close though with a potential Mandy and Georgie spin-off in the works. But, it is still going to be the end of the sitcom as we know it. To help us get ready for the return of Young Sheldon, CBS has shared a sneak peek video!

In the clip, which we shared above and once again below, it's revealed that there's no time jump and the seventh season picks up right where we left off at the end of season 6. In the final moments of last season, we saw Sheldon and Mary heading to Germany for the young genius' summer program opportunity, while back home the family had a tornado scare. Meemaw was hit the hardest, her entire home destroyed.

The sneak peek starts off with Sheldon enjoying a pretzel, but then the news reaches to Mary and she tells her son that they need to head home because Connie's house is now gone. But, that news doesn't really go over well with Sheldon. Class starts the following day and he's not missing it. Mary tries to put her foot down, but Sheldon starts acting like a child, lies down, and tells her he's not going anywhere.

I mean, we can't really blame him. Being in Germany is a big opportunity for him. But come on, Sheldon. These are extraordinary circumstances. You need to go home and support your Meemaw! There's no hint whether the duo do end up heading home or not yet. If we go off The Big Bang Theory, we know that Sheldon did indeed study in Germany for the summer. So perhaps the family back home in Medford, Texas tell Mary it's ok and they'll be alright without them. We'll have to wait and see. It won't be much longer now!
