Blue Bloods may have ended, but the show's legacy continues through its spinoff, Boston Blue.
Several characters from the popular CBS drama made appearances in season 1 of Boston Blue, much to the excitement of longtime fans. This includes Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan-Boyle, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Will Hochman as Joe Hill, and Marisa Ramirez in a recurring role as Maria Baez.
From Erin offering Danny some much-needed familial support after his son's accident to Henry securing Danny's old badge number for the BPD, each Reagan family cameo served an important purpose. However, some were a bit more memorable than others.
Here is every Blue Bloods cameo from season 1 of Boston Blue, ranked from worst to best.

4. Joe Hill
In the season 1 finale of Boston Blue, titled "Patrol," Joe attended a family dinner with the Silver & Reagan clan. The character had previously connected with Lena (offscreen) over meeting new family and dealing with loss. As a thank-you, Lena invited the young Reagan to dinner with her family.
While Hochman's cameo as Joe Hill was exciting, it was also a little disappointing. His appearance came out of nowhere and only lasted for a couple of minutes. It would have been nice to see him throughout the episode, particularly his conversation with Lena regarding her new relationship with her biological father.

3. Henry Reagan
In season 1, episode 13, titled "Beautiful Broken Things," Henry visited Boston to see Danny and Sean.
On the surface, Henry's visit to Boston seemed like a nice little family reunion between a grandfather and his grandson. However, it was revealed at the end of the episode that Henry had pulled strings to secure Danny's NYPD badge number for his new position as a BPD detective.
The moment not only served as a touching moment between Danny and one of his biggest mentors, but it also brought his journey as an NYPD officer to a fitting close. The move to Boston was a big change for Danny. He had to leave behind family and a job he loved in New York. However, due to Henry's thoughtfulness, Danny will now always be able to carry a piece of his old life with him as he begins his new chapter.

2. Erin Reagan
Erin was one of the first characters from Blue Bloods to appear on Boston Blue. In the pilot episode, she traveled to Boston to support Danny after Sean was involved in a tragic accident while off duty.
Erin and Danny have always had a nice relationship. Even when the two butted heads on Blue Bloods, the genuine love and care they had for each other were always apparent. That is what makes Erin's appearance in the Boston Blue pilot so meaningful. Danny needed in-person support from his family to get through such a tragic situation. And Erin, like a true Reagan, stepped up and only returned to New York when she knew her little brother would be ok.

1. Maria Baez
Fans were excited when Danny finally asked his longtime partner, Maria Baez, out on a date in the series finale of Blue Bloods. The two had been flirting for a couple of seasons before making things official, so many were rightfully looking forward to seeing their relationship blossom on Boston Blue.
Maria was a consistent highlight of the first season of Boston Blue. As a character, she keeps Danny grounded and brings out his vulnerabilities. When the two are together, it's about more than the family business. It's about the love two people can have for one another and the lengths they will go to to protect that love.
Season 1 of Boston Blue currently streams on Paramount+.
