Are you looking for something to watch on TV tonight, Thursday, March 6? There’s plenty to check out across the broadcast networks.

One network is taking a break in the schedule. Everything else will air new, and that includes the return of the Thursday night block of shows on ABC. Don’t get too comfortable, as some shows will take some time off for March Madness very soon.

TGIT returns, Elsbeth, and more

The entire TGIT lineup is back. It all starts with the midseason premiere of 911 season 8, which will bring us a serial killer storyline. One of our own will face danger, as the serial killer chooses to target Maddie Evans-Han. It will be a race against time to find Maddie and the killer. Meanwhile, the 118 will need to attend a call at an animal shelter. When a fire breaks out, it’s a race to get all the animals to safety. Do not kill the animals!

After that is a new episode of Doctor Odyssey, which starts off our Shark Week storyline. When a shark bites Munroe, the cruise ship needs to make a drastic decision. There’s another ship stuck in some shark-infested waters and the crew will do everything they can to save people. Avery also needs to make a difficult decision about her pregnancy.

The end of the night is all about Grey’s Anatomy. The series ended with Lucas and Jo stuck in a convenience store that was being robbed. Jo suffers bleeding during the robbery, which Lucas didn’t realize was all that bad at first. When she told him she’s pregnant, Lucas realized that he needed to act fast if he was going to save more lives than just the two of them and the cashier.

Over on CBS, we’ll get a full night of new shows. The network will want to get through as much as possible before March Madness begins. That means a new episode of Elsbeth, which guest stars Charmed’s Alyssa Milano. She plays a Mafia princess, who is likely to be the killer in this Little Italy storyline.

NBC is taking a night off from new episodes. However, there are reruns of the three usual shows throughout the night.
