A new year is upon us and what better way to ring it in than a full hour of new Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox?! On a special night and time, Jake (Andy Samberg) and the gang are tasked to take down a number of fugitives across the city. While the Nine-Nine crew is fully capable, they may need the help of some unlikely people. One includes a Super Bowl winner. The other ushers the return of Jake’s former nemesis. This New Year’s Day event will certainly cure your hangover.
In the eleventh and twelfth episodes of the fourth season, “The Fugitive Pt. 1 & 2,” we’re treated to the return of Craig Robinson as Doug Judy, a.k.a. “The Pontiac Bandit.” Once a foe, Doug has become an ally with Jake. After most of the convicts have been captured, Doug is tasked to assist the Nine-Nine to bring them down the last one. In addition, former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch comes aboard as a witness. Will he bring his Beast Mode to help capture the perps?
So what can we expect in the eleventh and twelfth episodes of season four, “The Fugitive Pt. 1 & 2”? The following synopsis is from TV Guide:
"Several convicts escape from a prison van, sending the entire squad on a manhunt throughout Brooklyn; Marshawn Lynch is the only key witness; and Jake and Amy place a bet on who can capture the most inmates in the first half of this combined episode. In the second half, Jake enlists a surprising ally to catch the last fugitive."
