Walt Disney movies feature beautiful stories and colorful characters, but what we love most are the soundtracks!
There’s something about Disney songs. They fill you with joy, some inspire you, and others simply make you want to dance! You can’t help but sing along to them whenever you hear one playing.
From Disney’s first animated movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney introduced us to a magical world of fairy tales, princesses, talking sea creatures, and mischievous villains. And while the stories have changed since the days of Sleeping Beauty‘s Aurora waiting for her prince charming save her, the amazing tunes only keep getting better.

Some Disney songs are ageless, such as Aladdin‘s “A Whole New World” and The Little Mermaid‘s “Under the Sea.” However, you’ll find that a good amount of the top 30 songs we ranked below are fairly new — from the 2000s and not from Disney’s early years. In fact, you won’t see any songs from Snow White or Sleeping Beauty on this list.
And, of course, there are some Disney films that are over all amazing, fan favorites, that we’ll cherish forever. Take Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, and Moana, for example, we’d argue that every song in their soundtrack deserves a spot in the top 30 Disney songs. But, to be fair, we only included a couple from each to make room for others.
