Supernatural’s Christian Keyes teases of ‘something’ coming with Michael, but what?

Christian Keyes is the new face of Michael and he is teasing that something is coming, but what exactly is that something?

The arc angel Michael has been a long lost figure on Supernatural for some time now. Ever since falling into Lucifer’s cage wearing Adam’s meat suit he has barely been referenced to and become the butt of a few jokes within the fandom.

So when we all learned he was coming back it was a pretty big thing. The problem was would this new Michael soon become a bit of a joke as well. Nope, Christian Keyes has managed to go and create a whole new view of the character.

His introduction to the show in Season 13, Episode 2, “The Rising,” was just epic, with much of the fandom approving. His version as the Alternate Universe (AU) Michael has turned him from a figure to point and laugh at, to a much-feared character in the #SPNFamily world.

He is up to something

But we haven’t seen the character for some time now. Ever since he attempted to get to earth by stealing Lucifer’s grace and opening up a portal/wormhole type thing, it has been fairly quiet from the Team AU Michael camp.

Thankfully it doesn’t look like we will be waiting much longer for him to reappear, as Christian Keyes teased us, via Twitter, by saying that Michael is always up to something.

What is the something?

But what is it he is referring to? What is the “something” that Michael is up to?

Well, we know that the character wants to get to earth. He is fed up with the world he is on and wants to move worlds and to do that he needs angel grace.

Problem is he ran out of it and it doesn’t look like there are any other archangels around. They are possibly dead, missing or he is just unwilling to steal theirs. So what’s the next best thing? Jack.

No doubt the “something” is going to involve our innocent, baby-faced, spawn of the devil. He is in the AU now and he is part arc angel. So it wouldn’t surprise us if Michael made do with Jack and tried to make the spell work with him instead. Question is, will he take Jack by force or by tricking him?
