Not a football fan or not an Eagles or Patriots fan? No problem, because it’s the perfect time to watch Bob’s Burgers Super Bowl-themed episode.

More from FOX

It’s finally Super Bowl Sunday. A time for family, friends and food, at least for some. For others, they want to watch football while others come for the halftime show or the commercials. There are a lot of football lovers out there, but some are just skipping out. If you’re the latter, then Bob’s Burgers has something for you.

Unlike a lot of other shows, the series has their own Super Bowl episode. Aired during season 4, it still holds up. Entitled “Easy Com-mercial, Easy Go-mercial,” the episode does a great job at parodying the Super Bowl, the commercials and society’s obsession with both.

If you’re not a football fan, it’s a perfect alternative to watching the big game. I’ll try not to give away too much of the plot for the episode. The episode is all about the Belcher family working together to create a Super Bowl commercial. Much like other episodes, not everything goes as planned and the episode ends in a hilarious fashion.

If you’re a Bob’s Burgers fan, then there’s no reason to convince you. You’re smart and you already know how good the episode is. If you’re not a fan, then here are just a few reasons why you should watch it.

First, there’s very little football in the actual episode. There are a few clips of football and a football player, but nothing about plays or calls. Considering that it’s a Super Bowl episode, there’s a sore lack of football.

The episode has those trademark Bob’s Burgers quotables and even a song. It’s a small song, but it’s incredibly catchy. Before you know it, you’ll be telling your friends that everything goes great with Frye.

It’s basically a huge Superbowl parody episode. It pokes fun at Superbowl commercials, football fans and the effort people will go to for it. At its heart, the episode is similar to all the others where the Belchers try their best but don’t come out successful. In a way, they did but not how they had hoped.

No matter if you’re a football fan or not, we always like to see the underdog win. The episode might not end how you imagine, but the underdog squeaks by with the W. If you’re not convinced now, then think about the last time you laughed during a football game. Never? If you watch Bob’s Burgers, you’re bound to chuckle at least once or twice.

Even if you are a football fan, watching “Easy Commercial, Easy Gommercial” is a great way to get into the spirit of the game. As one of the few Super Bowl-themed episodes, all you can do is give a try. Maybe if you like it, then you can make your very own The Longest Chard Burger.
