"As the second season opens, the Cody clan is back to their old ways and in the midst of a fun, high-adrenaline heist.  But when things don’t go as planned, the family dynamics become more fractured than ever as some members advocate for independence from Smurf. Adding fuel to the fire is an external threat from Smurf’s past that has come back to haunt her."

Like many season sets, the Animal Kingdom Season 2 DVD set splits the season up across three discs with each disc containing a number of episodes, their deleted scenes and the collection’s sole bonus featurette. Wondering how the season is broken up? Let’s take a look!

Final Look: Is it Worth Buying?

Looking at the season as a whole, it’s clear to me, as it likely will be to most fans of the show, that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Animal Kingdom: The Complete Second Season set is a must-have product.

In its second season, the series managed to deliver a season which some could argue was more compelling and entertaining than its first which is something that is never an easy feat. Judging the season set solely on the merit of the season alone, this collector’s set is a must-have as the season was one which every fan should jump at the chance to be able to rewatch whenever they’d like.

Looking at the set’s bonus features, it might be said to be lacking in the eyes of fans who have come to expect numerous bonus featurettes with a DVD release. However, it’s not to be overlooked that the set contains a large handful of deleted scenes which is something many sets fail to deliver. In fact nine of the season’s 13 episodes feature at least one bonus scene.

Let’s not then forget the one featurette that is included on the set which is a fun bonus feature fans are sure to enjoy as they rewatch the show back for a season time.

If you enjoy the series and are looking to add Season 2 to your collection, the show’s DVD set is a set no fan should pass up on. Trust me, you won’t regret adding this title to your collection!
