Where to find The Walking Dead actors in movies

The Walking Dead returns at the end of February, but if you really miss the cast, we know where you can find them on the big screen!
We’re only including actors who currently star in the AMC series, not those who have, unfortunately, been killed off the show. Many of the actors on the series don’t have time for another project, but a few have managed to score small roles. It also depends on how important their role on The Walking Dead is. As long as Andrew Lincoln is on the show, for example, you won’t see him star in any movies or television shows.

Melissa McBride
Melissa McBride, along with Laurie Holden (Andrea) and Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale) all starred in the adaptation of Stephen King’s The Mist. McBride has remained loyal to the AMC series and has not been involved in too much outside of the zombie world.
Lauren Cohan
Lauren is a brave and badass walker slayer on The Walking Dead as Maggie, so why not try her hand at a horror movie? The actress stars as Greta Evans in The Boy, a horror movie that follows Greta as a babysitter who believes a life-size doll is alive. Cohan also appears in Batman v Superman as Martha Wayne.

Cohan is filming Mile 22 currently, but with her role on The Walking Dead about to grow, we may not see much of Lauren Cohan outside of AMC for a while. However, with recent rumors of her searching for new roles and therefore leaving TWD, we may see her star in something else pretty soon.
Norman Reedus
Reedus has always remained dedicated to his work on The Walking Dead, only ever taking a small side project here and there. The most recent is the crime action film Triple 9. Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen the movie and the trailer looks exciting and packed with Norman Reedus scenes, don’t expect too much.
Norman Reedus also stars alongside Diane Kruger (who he is actually currently dating) in Sky. The film follows Romy (Kruger) on a holiday with her husband Richard (Gilles Lellouche). Their vacation turns into a settling of old scores for the worn out couple, and Romy decides to break free once she meets Diego (Norman Reedus).
Before becoming Daryl Dixon, the actor is also known for his role as Murphy MacManus in the film franchise The Boondock Saints, which took place long before The Walking Dead.

Danai Gurira
Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, aka Rick’s one and only, will be in theaters very soon — fighting bad guys as Okoye, alongside Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther. Gurira will also appear in Avengers: Infinity War. Joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is pretty awesome, way to go, Gurira! She can also be seen in All Eyez on Me, which hit theaters last year.
