Having been off the air since January 7, when does Ghosted  return with new episodes?

More from FOX

While many of our favorite shows are on hiatus during the cold months of winter, may it be to make room for Awards Season, the Superbowl, or the Winter Olympics, there isn’t another freshman comedy with more on the line when they come back than Ghosted.

Last November Ghosted, the Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and Craig Robinson (The Office) starring supernatural/cop comedy on Fox, whose renewal status remains unclear, received an order of six more episodes, bringing its episode count up to 16 from its originally ordered 10, according to this report from Deadline.

Also included in that report was news that executive producer and showrunner Kevin Etten was being ousted, with Paul Lieberstein, perhaps best known as the fan-favorite Toby in The Office, announced as his replacement. Since the next episode, the tenth, titled “Hello Boys,” was intended to be the original season finale, Deadline‘s report suggests Fox and Lieberstein could be taking the series in a new direction.

"[Fox] had been looking for a tonal shift on the show, seeking to ground it as more of a workplace comedy, resulting in the hire of a new showrunner with extensive workplace comedy experience to land a back order."

With a return date still unannounced, Fox might be waiting to see how the Lieberstein helmed episodes pan out. Never the less, despite having not aired yet, “Hello Boys” is currently available for purchase on Amazon.

Past episodes of Ghosted are available for streaming on Hulu.
