14 Supernatural stars you forgot were in Once Upon a Time

Adrian Hough

Like Lanig, Adrian Hough has played two characters on Supernatural. The first is one of his most memorable. He was Dr. Hydeker in Season 1’s “Something Wicked;” the doctor who turned out to be the monster Sam and Dean were hunting. He would return to Season 8 as the dastardly and dark Victor Rogers.

As for Once Upon a Time, he had a slightly more positive character. He adopted Zelena (who would later become the Wicked Witch of the West). Like the SPN characters, the adoptive father was a small role.

Ty Olsson

Our loveable Benny appeared in the first season of Once Upon a Time, but not as a likeable character. He played Hordor (not to be confused with Game of Thrones’ Hodor), one of the knights of the realm. While Rumple and Bae are on the King’s Road, Hordor sees them and starts to mock Rumple. All things are turned around when Rumple becomes the Dark One.

James Marsters

This is one actor you’ll be forgiven for missing. James Marsters showed up in one of the bonus scenes in the Season 5 DVD features. He played Mordred and helped to wrap up Cruella’s storyline for the series.

Wait, who was he in Supernatural? You likely know him from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, right? Well, Marsters was one of the witchy spouses, alongside fellow former Buffy actress Charisma Carpenter.

Aleks Paunovic

Alex Paunovic has been in three episodes of Supernatural, playing three different characters. His most recent role was in Season 12, where he played Gunnar Lawless. It turned out he’d sold his soul and decided to collect other souls to prevent his own going to Hell.

However, he’s only been in one episode of Once Upon a Time. It was an important character for the series. He played Berkley, the black knight who was working for Regina.
