Gold Rush: White Water continues to show the dangers involved with mining, when muddy waters suggest a life-threatening problem upstream.

“Inland Tsunami” shows the potential dangers involved in gold mining. During this exclusive sneak of Gold Rush: White Water, you’ll get to see the Dakota Boys figure out the reason for the sudden discolored water that forces them to call off diving for the day.

This is more than just a bit of muddy water restricting views. The camera pans up from underneath the water to see the whole of McKinley Creek is now rushing muddy water downstream.

Due to the location of the landslide and the winding river, the boys have to call in Jack and use the chopper to see the full situation. When investigating, a massive landslide is spotted further upstream showing the exact point of clear water turning into the muddy danger. The river may currently flow underneath, but there is a potential for disaster. It could lead to a dam of mud being created, which would then later lead to a rush of water destroying everything in its path.
