The second Hillywood Show Supernatural parody is coming soon, but what will the storyline focus be?

Supernatural has been running for 12.5 seasons now and they have brought a range of storylines and focuses. With news that The Hillywood Show is doing a second parody, many fans have started to question the storyline they will focus on this time. The first parody was about Dean Winchester and the Mark of Cain, so will the upcoming season be focused on Sam instead?

Hilly and Hannah certainly make good Dean and Castiels, so it would be a shame for them to make a switch to other characters in the show. Plus, Osric Chau was awesome as Sam, getting some of the facial expressions down to a tee. It would be perfect if he could come back for that role in the second parody. But if roles are switched, the storylines are opened further for the parody.

If you want a look at the first parody to get an idea of things to expect, here’s a look at the YouTube video. You can then check out the whole channel for ideas from other parodies.

Here’s a look at the nine storyline ideas The Hillywood Show could run with for Supernatural Parody 2.

#1. The Special Children

More from Supernatural

How about going all the way back to the start? The Hillywood Show could certainly take up the challenge of telling the Special Children storyline through a parody. After all, this was technically the storyline that kicked off the whole series. It was the Yellow-Eyed Demon (now known as Azazel) who burned Mary on the ceiling, giving us that opening shot.

Plus, the Special Children storyline took up two full seasons and then returned for Season 4, as Lucifer was released from the cage.

The downside would be no Castiel. Do we really want a storyline that doesn’t include the winged best friend? Well, it could certainly work for the old-school Supernatural and J2 fans, but it just wouldn’t feel right without Hannah Hindi playing Castiel after doing such an awesome job the first time.

#2. The apocalypse storyline

Another option that would bring Castiel into it would be the apocalypse storyline from Season 5. Not only would there be a chance to have that famous scene with “Hey, Assbutt” in it, but the sisters could bring in someone to play Lucifer and even Adam/Michael!

There are a world of options with the Season 5 apocalypse storyline. It could be told from Sam’s POV, as he makes the decision to say yes to Lucifer. Then there’s Dean’s POV, as he attempts to save the world again. Or there’s the story from Castiel’s POV, as he attempts to help the Winchesters and goes against many of the angels of Heaven.

The first apocalypse storyline is one of those that is always fondly remembered by fans. This would be a chance to bring back the happy, sad, and bittersweet memories.

#3. Dean’s hell deal

If the sisters wanted to stick to Dean storylines, the Season 3 hell deal storyline is one to tell. It could start with Dean’s decision to make a deal with the crossroad demon for Sam’s life and then continue into Sam’s attempts to stop the deal from taking place.

While the hell deal was mostly about Dean, there was a lot of inner turmoil from Sam. As it got closer to Dean’s year being up, Sam got more and more desperate. Seeing that through a parody would be an excellent and unique option.

Oh, and we’d also get the “I lost my shoe” moment! That classic has to be done.

#4. Battling the Leviathans

Okay, so the Supernatural Season 7 storyline was one of the worst, but that doesn’t mean the sisters can’t do it. In fact, because it was so bad, they would easily make it more entertaining. Maybe they could even show us what really could have happened.

The sisters haven’t always just shown a storyline with a twist. They’ve often brought their own ideas or meshed together worlds. For example, their first Harry Potter parody was technically a So You Think You Can Dance parody. It just include Harry, Voldermort and some others.

The Hillywood Show could do this again but with the Supernatural characters. Maybe a “So You Think You Can Hunt” or “So You Think You Can Be a Winchester.” The latter works for the Leviathans, as they took on the faces of the Winchesters and copied some of the previous crimes they’d supposedly committed.

#5. Focusing on the British Men of Letters

Let’s jump all the way to Supernatural Season 12. The British Men of Letters had so much potential, but the writing just didn’t quite live up to expectations. However, they’d be perfect for a parody from the Hindi sisters.

This is another case where two shows or fandoms could be joined. The Winchesters and the British Men of Letters could have a stand-off, almost like a dance-off but with a twist. There would be the options of bringing in Billie, Mary, Castiel and more with this particular storyline.

Rather than a dance-off, the parody can focus on Dean and Sam’s trust in the British Men of Letters. It could even just focus on the Season 12 storyline over all, with both the Men of Letters and Lucifer being issues to face.

#6. Meeting Jack

Now we’ll jump to this current season and it’s all about Jack. The nephilim certainly had a memorable entrance, and not just because he was completely naked for much of the start of the Season 13 premiere. His entrance had throwbacks to Castiel’s back in Season 4.

This would be a perfect storyline to parody, since it would be popular with the fans. There’s also an element of Star Wars that can be brought in, as Jack learns that Lucifer is actually his father. Again, the sisters could have fun meshing together two passionate fandoms.

The parody wouldn’t just have the chance to showcase Jack learning who his father is, but also learning more about his powers. We’ll have the chance to see the confusion, the fear and the inner struggle again.

#7. Dealing with Mary Winchester

This probably won’t be a popular option, but I’ll throw it out there. Mary Winchester spent the whole of Season 12 searching for herself and her place in the world. For me, that was completely understandable. I have no idea how I’d react if I died and returned 30 years later with absolutely no memories of the things that had happened. The children I have now would be grown up and I’d have missed everything. Nope, no idea how I’d react! But that is a whole different topic!

So, this would make an interesting parody from The Hillywood Show. The sisters could show Mary’s story through her eyes, or show the problems between all the Winchesters. This could even have a little of Season 13 mixed in, as Dean and Sam struggle with the loss of Mary to the Apocalypse World.

The storyline would also allow a mixture of the British Men of Letters storyline. There’s the chance to bring in Mary’s relationship with Ketch and the mind control towards the end of Season 12.

#8. Tell the Apocalypse World storyline

This is likely not going to happen, since we haven’t seen much of the world. However, it’s totally viable if the sisters want to do something completely different. They get to tell their own story, bringing back some of the favorite characters from the fandom.

Of course, they can also tell it from Sam and Dean’s view or from Mary and Jack’s view. We get to see Dean and Sam learning that there are parallel worlds, see Crowley sacrifice himself to trap Lucifer, watch Castiel attempt to stop the archangel to give the Winchesters time to get out, and then see Mary get pulled through the portal.

This is also one of those storylines that could be meshed with the Jack storyline from Season 13.

#9. Bring back the Darkness and Chuck

Season 11 saw the introduction of The Darkness and finally gave us the identity of God—confirming that it was indeed Chuck. This is something The Hillywood Show could run with. Rather than tell the story of the Winchesters, tell the story of Amara and Chuck. Of course, Sam, Dean and Castiel would all be included, along with Lucifer.

In fact, there would be something fun for Hannah Hindi in this storyline. As she plays Castiel, she could tackle the Casifer storyline. This is completely unlikely, but definitely one to have fun with.
