Chuck is helping the Winchesters; they just don’t know it!

Is Chuck lending a hand here and there without anyone noticing?

God, or as we will all call him in the #SPNFamily, Chuck, might be absent from our screens this season but he is definitely out and about, lending a hand whenever he can. Sam and Dean don’t know it and you might not know it either, but he has popped by and answered that prayer that Dean sent out at the beginning of Supernatural Season 13.

Dean sent that prayer up in the premiere episode of Season 13 and it was a surprising sight because as we all know Dean is not exactly the praying type. It looked like that prayer had gone unanswered, nothing appeared before him, no sign, no lighting.

But really, Chuck has been working behind the scenes and out of sight of Sam and Dean Winchester.

When?

The most obvious example of Chuck helping out was in the most recent episode of Supernatural, “A Most Holy Man.”

Father Lucca Camilleri teamed up with Sam and Dean and ended up getting shot in the process. The wound was not a fatal one, if anything a scratch. We all saw it and, along with Sam and Dean, thought Father Camilleri was done for.

What none of us saw, especially Sam and Dean, was Chuck just nudging that bullet off to one side. Redirecting the path of the bullet from being a fatal one, think of that Quick Silver scene from X-Men: Days of Future Past.

You can make some other smaller connections to Chuck helping Team Free Will 2.0. Chuck lending Jack a hand in bringing Cas back; Lucifer and Castiel escaping Asmoedeus dungeon.;Aalot of moments can be connected in some way to Chuck if you want it to.

You can easily assume that he is not around and he is off somewhere not giving a damn, leaving Sam and Dean to sort things out for themselves. However, it is nice to think that he has answered Dean’s prayer.
