Bob’s Burgers: Time to produce a St. Patrick’s Day episode
Bob’s Burgers has a reputation for airing awesome holiday episodes, but have yet to tackle St. Patrick’s Day. 2019 is finally time to produce one.

If there’s one thing Bob’s Burgers is notorious for, it’s their holiday episodes. There have been a few surprisingly underrated holidays to get the Bob’s Burgers treatment. March isn’t a huge month for holidays, but there’s a significant holiday missing. The show has yet to produce an St. Patrick’s Day episode.
As far as holidays go, St. Patrick’s Day is underutilized in the media. Obviously, there’s Shamrock Shakes but there aren’t many movies or TV shows featuring the holiday but it’s time to change that. In 2019, Bob’s Burgers should produce an St. Patrick’s Day episode.
It’s too late for it to happen this year, but next year could be the lucky one. Obviously, the symbols for St. Patrick’s Day are four-leaf clovers, leprechauns and being/getting lucky so there’s a lot of ideas to work with there.
Unlike summer holidays, this episode can air right before or right after the holiday. Even though today’s the 17th, the episode airs on the 18th and it could have either aired tomorrow or on the 11th. There should be no problem with airtime.
As for the plot of the episode, there are a million and one directions the show could go. One plot could be the restaurant trying to compete with McDonald’s or their version of McDonald’s. Bob would introduce an St. Patrick’s Day dessert or menu item to compete. It would be a hit until hijinks with the kids would ensue.
It might not be the best concept, but a worthwhile idea. The episode could also feature Gene dressed up as a leprechaun in the burger suit and Louise trying to have a lucky day. There could even be an St. Patrick’s Day song since that’s another rarity.
As far as episode ideas go, that’s just an extremely simple and basic one. I’m sure the writers and producers could come up with something better. The Simpsons have produced an St. Patrick’s Day episode and their success are unparalleled. There’s no reason why Bob’s Burgers shouldn’t take the leap, too.

The team at and behind Bob’s Burgers has already created such a beloved catalog of wonderful holiday episodes. No matter the idea, they’ll add their special magic and it will be hilarious, heartfelt and wonderful. As per usual, the team has a way of surprising fans so there’s no telling if this will happen.
