Legends of Tomorrow Season 4: Matt Ryan joining as series regular
Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 is unofficially confirmed, as Matt Ryan’s Constantine joins as a series regular.
If there was any doubt about DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 4, that should be gone now. The series has been unofficially confirmed, through the announcement that Matt Ryan is joining as a series regular. It looks like Constantine was a huge success in his guest appearance and is highly anticipated in tonight’s episode.
The CW is still to confirm if any of its shows are being renewed or canceled yet. However, there are a handful of shows expected to be renewed. Now Legends has joined the list.

Ryan’s Constantine originally appeared in his own series on NBC, but it was canceled after just one season. Fans were excited to hear the character would appear as a guest star in Legends of Tomorrow Season 3, off the back of The CW Seed confirming it would pick up the demon hunting Brit.

Deadline does state that Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 isn’t yet confirmed. However, it looks like the showrunners are expecting a renewal. While the series isn’t the most highly rated on the series, there’s no need to expect the CW to cancel it just yet. It’s still rated higher than some other shows on the network, such as Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The two shows rated lower last year but were renewed and are expected to be renewed this year!
Constantine will appear in the Season 3 finale, which will likely set up his addition to the series as a regular. Hopefully, Rip Hunter will stick around and the two can bond fully over their joint British connection. There’s certainly space for everyone, as so far two departed and only one regular (Wally West) has joined.
