You have to really enjoy a movie to want to buy in on Blu-ray, but it also helps your decision if the bonus features and extra content are amazing. Because in a world where you can catch the movie on a network channel or Netflix (or simply rent it if you’d like to watch it again), buying a Blu-ray or DVD (and nowadays, 4K HD copies) only happens if a movie is special to you.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is an LOL-fun adventure the family can enjoy again and again. The cast, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas, are perfect in their roles! It’s nonstop laughs thanks to Kevin Hart and Jack Black, but Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillan also make their presence known, while Nick Jonas ties in the group together. It’s a great movie to own, especially for families. But what can we expect from the special features?

What’s up with Gag Reels disappointing me lately? They’re what I look forward to the most when I get my hands on a Blu-ray. It’s so fun to see the cast break character and learn first-hand how the actors really get along. In the movies I’ve received lately, though, the gag reel has been incredibly short and not much fun to watch.
