How will Liv and Ravi learn Blaine has the cure on iZombie?

Blaine has the cure on iZombie Season 4 but that can’t stay secret for long, can it?

As expected, Blaine has the zombie cure and is using it for his own personal gain. It’s like Ravi and Liv have given up searching for it, but there’s no way the writers would allow this storyline to drop. This has been the focus from the very beginning of iZombie. Eventually, Liv and Ravi will learn the truth about Blaine stealing the cure, but how will that happen?
There are a few possibilities. Some have more weight to them than others. Here’s a look at four ways Liv and Ravi could find out the truth.

Don-E shares all
Don-E can be loyal, but he also wants power. He’s attempted to gain it once and it all backfired on him, but could this be another attempt for him? Now that he knows about the cure on iZombie, he could use it to his advantage. Telling Liv about the cure would mean Liv, Ravi and even Clive could go after Blaine, leaving Blaine’s enterprise open for taking over.
Rather than maliciously telling anyone, Don-E could slip up about the cure. After all, there may be some of that brain left that has everyone sharing their darkest secrets.
Blaine searches for more
Blaine has used the cure for his own gain. He turned a zombie back into a human to allow him to get visions on Renegade. Now he’s realized just how useful the cure is, he may decide to admit his theft. He’ll want Ravi to make more and the only way that can happen is if Ravi has the original cures to work from. Plus, now Ravi knows that the cures work since Blaine has used them on others.
He’d likely put off the idea of telling them right away. He may try to get around the truth first, claiming to have found the real culprit. However, eventually, the truth will come out, as it always does.
Chase Graves gets the cure
Rather than Liv and Ravi learning about the cure to get it back, they could learn that someone else has it. Chase Graves is causing problems for Blaine, so it wouldn’t be too surprising if Chase ordered a sweep of the Scratching Post. That would lead to Chase finding out about the cure.
With the cure, Chase could turn zombies back into humans. He could solve some of the starving zombie population by making them human again. Of course, this could then lead to him using those humans to create food for the other zombies in Seattle.
Liv and Ravi come across it
Rather than someone telling them, Liv and Ravi could both come across the cure in some way. They may have a reason to sneak around Blaine’s office for something else, leading to Liv and Ravi accidentally putting their hands on the cure. Neither would likely be too surprised to learn that Blaine had stolen the cure after all.
If they don’t directly come across it, Peyton or Major could find it during a sweep. Major may even be working for Chase at the time. He’d then need to make the decision whether to take the cures back to Liv or to hand them over to Chase. It would certainly test his loyalty and could help bring Liv and Major back together.
