More familiar Once Upon a Time stars returning for Series Finale (and you’ll love them)
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are following through with that promise about an epic Once Upon a Time Series Finale, with more returning faces.
If you worried for a second that Emma, Snow and Charming wouldn’t return for the Once Upon a Time Series Finale, I understand. It was a must for me to feel like the series had completely wrapped its story telling. Well, now it’s confirmed the three will return, along with another must: Belle.
Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Emilie de Ravin will all return for at least the last episode of the series. This news comes after the announcement that a number of recurring stars would make a return, including Sean Maguire to pick up the role of Robin Hood once more. It’s going to be an epic end to an epic tale.

It’s not clear exactly how all the characters will return. The Series Finale is called “Leaving Storybrooke,” so it looks like there will be a return to that world Regina created with the very first curse.

Really, there was no need to worry. We knew that Kitsis and Horowitz weren’t going to leave us hanging. This is their story just as much as ours and they’d want to wrap it in style. They will want to say goodbye with plenty of “happily ever afters,” just like we want to see. With Maguire’s confirmed return, there’s hope that Regina will get her well-deserved happily ever after in the Series Finale.
On top of this new of returning characters, the Once Upon a Time Series Finale will also leave things slightly open ended. That’s not to say it’ll be on a cliffhanger. It will feel complete, but with plenty of options to return to the world of Storybrooke, Hyperion Heights, and the Enchanted Forest again.
